I’ve posted below what a general day looked like for me during 1st/2nd year, but once again, your days may look completely different from mine. No matter what your routine may look like, it is best to stay consistent with it. Consistency will help keep you focused in the long run and is definitely beneficial both physically and mentally.
| 5:30AM | Wake up; brush my teeth; make coffee (always a must for me) |
| 6AM-8AM | Continue taking notes from previous day; practice questions |
| 8AM-9AM | Shower; get ready for the day; eat breakfast |
| 9AM-1PM | Watch lectures for the day (took 5-10 minute breaks between lectures) |
| 1PM-1:30PM | Take a break; refuel with food and coffee |
| 1:30PM-5PM | Review lectures; take notes; practice questions; finish up on any other work |
| 5PM-6:30PM | Dinner; relax |
| 6:30PM-7:30PM | Do some light studying |
| 7:30PM-8:30PM | Relax; watch TV; catch up with family |
| 8:30PM-9PM | Sleep |
It’s important to remember that not every single day will look the same. There are going to be days when you have additional requirements to attain to or you might come across unexpected situations. At the end of the day, it’s good to keep an open-mind because there will always be situations that are out of your control and becoming frustrated will only add to the stress.
*Make sure to stay hydrated and take mini breaks between study sessions and lectures*
*Remember that each day is a fresh start*
